Dua Lipa confirms engagement to Callum Turner

London, June 13 (UNI) International pop star Dua Lipa has officially announced her engagement to British actor Callum Turner, calling the experience "a really special feeling" as the couple embarks on a new chapter in their relationship.
The 29 year old chart-topping artist and the "Fantastic Beasts" star, 35, have been romantically linked for over a year and a half. Their low-profile relationship first ignited engagement rumours last Christmas when the 'Levitating' singer shared a series of photographs subtly showcasing a ring on her finger.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” she told Gaby Wood for British Vogue’s July cover interview. “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling.”
The singer revealed that Turner had the ring custom made for her, after consulting her best friends and sister Rina. “I’m obsessed with it,” she continued. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
While the couple hasn't yet set a wedding date, Lipa explained that her ongoing world tour, scheduled to wrap in Mexico this December and Turner's filming commitments have put planning on hold. Turner is currently filming for "Neuromancer", an upcoming Apple TV+ sci-fi series based on the 2984 novel.
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”, Lipa remarked. UNI NST SSP
