Working with Anusha Rizvi was truly a gift: Kritika Kamra

Mumbai, June 13 (UNI) Bollywood actress Kritika Kamra has described her recent collaboration with esteemed filmmaker Anusha Rizvi as an exceptional honour, expressing that she feels immensely "fortunate" to be a part of a cinematic so deeply rooted in female perspective and immensely artistic.
Kamra recently concluded filming in Delhi for the yet-untitled project helmed by Rizvi, the celebrated director of Peepli Live. It is distinguished by its all-women cast and crew, with accomplished artists like Juhi Babbar, Shreya Dhanwantri among the leads and an overwhelmingly female-led technical team guiding the production behind-the-scenes, making it an unique and refreshing women-led film.

Kritika said, “It’s pretty special to find yourself on a set where women aren’t just in front of the camera, but are leading from every corner, direction, production, costumes, and more. Working with Anusha Rizvi was truly a gift. With this film, Anusha brings such a strong vision and such a truly open space for collaboration. There’s a different kind of energy when such powerful women come together like this, it is nurturing, inspiring, and deeply enriching.
"We weren’t just telling a story, we were sharing lived experiences, supporting each other, and lifting each other up. And this is something I have always felt in such collaborations with women. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of something so special." UNI NST SSP
