Every woman needs to practice Yoga: Minister Chandrakant Patil

Pune June 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of Education Chandrakant Patil said here on Friday that
Women's lives are very challenging as they have to fulfill several responsibilities at home due which their health is often neglected.
Patil stressed that for coping with such a challenging schedule every woman needs to practice Yoga.
He noted that the Mansi initiative has taken the responsibility to teach Yoga to girls from the slum area of ​​Kothrud.
He added that this initiative will be implemented on a large scale in Pune city in the coming days.
Patil said that in today's modern era, women are not inferior in any field. He said that women are overcoming various challenges like menstruation, childbirth pain, fulfilling various responsibilities in the family and earning fame in their respective fields. Among all this, they often neglect their own health. Due to this, they have to face serious diseases. The yoga practice is very necessary for them during such a time, he added.
Around 1000 girls from Mansi initiative presented yoga demonstrations here today.
