Bhadrachalam (Telangana), June 25 (UNI) In a tragic incident, two people, a father and son, died due to electrocution, and a woman sustained injuries in Yellapuram village of Illandu Mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district in the early hours today.
According to police reports, Erramma (50) received an electric shock after accidentally coming into contact with a broken live wire.
In an attempt to save her, her husband Enugu Narasiah (55) and their son Praveen (30) rushed to her aid but were fatally electrocuted on the spot.
Erramma, who sustained injuries, was initially taken to the Illandu Government Hospital and later shifted to the Khammam Government Hospital for better treatment.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
