Fazilka SSP suspended

Chandigarh, May 28 (UNI) After four police personnel, including SHO, of Cyber Crime Police,
Fazilka were arrested accepting a bribe, SSP Varinder Singh Brar has been suspended by
Punjab government, sources said.
SHO Manjeet Singh, along with three other police personnel were arrested for taking a bribe
of Rs one lakh in a case involving a minor's confiscated phone.
Sources said that the Punjab government have now suspended the Fazilka SSP for not not
taking timely action in the bribery case.
