Gurugram Traffic Police Impound 250 Vehicles Without Number Plates in Two-Day Crackdown

Gurugram, Oct 3 (UNI) Gurugram Traffic Police have impounded 250 vehicles in two days for allegedly plying without registration number plates as part of a special enforcement drive aimed at tightening traffic compliance and road safety, police said on Saturday.
According to Gurugram Police, the drive has been launched specifically against vehicles operating without number plates. Police said such vehicles were being impounded and the campaign would continue, with action against violators in accordance with the law.
Traffic Police have asked vehicle owners to ensure that High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) are installed on their vehicles in accordance with prescribed norms.
Police said clearly displayed and legally compliant registration plates are essential for establishing the identity of vehicles and also aid traffic enforcement and road safety.
Gurugram Traffic Police appealed to motorists not to operate vehicles without valid registration plates and warned that enforcement against such violations would continue across the city. UNI XC SS
