Haryana plans digital monitoring of VIP aircraft operations, invites bids for specialised software

Panchkula, Oct 22 (UNI) The Haryana government has initiated the process of introducing specialised software to digitally monitor flight operations, crew duty hours, aircraft maintenance and aviation safety compliance of its three VIP aircraft, inviting bids for a system capable of generating automated alerts on operational limits and maintenance requirements.
According to a tender issued by the Civil Aviation Department, the proposed Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) software will cover the state's H145D3 (VT-HYR), EC145C2 (VT-HRY) and B200 GT Fusion (VT-HCA) aircraft.
The FDTL software will monitor pilots' flying hours, duty periods, rest requirements and cumulative flight-time limitations. It will generate automated alerts when crew members approach prescribed duty limits and flag potential violations of aviation regulations.
The CAMO software will enable digital monitoring of aircraft maintenance schedules, inspections, component life cycles, technical defects and airworthiness requirements.
It will also generate maintenance alerts, compliance reports and operational dashboards, besides maintaining records of aircraft inspections and maintenance activities.
The proposed system is required to support compliance with Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) regulations and facilitate the maintenance and retrieval of aircraft and crew records.
Under the tender conditions, the selected firm will be responsible for supplying, installing and configuring the software, migrating existing data, training departmental personnel and providing technical support.
The department has also prescribed data-security safeguards, including restricted access, secure authentication, audit records and regular backups.
All operational and technical data entered into the system will remain the exclusive property of the Haryana Civil Aviation Department.
