Heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 24 hrs: Met

Hyderabad, June 27 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said today.
In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in the states during the next five days.
Strong surface winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h are likely to prevail at isolated places in all districts of Telangana during the same period.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur in isolated places or at a few places in the state during the next seven days, the report added.
