Hyderabad June 27 (UNI) The Directorate of Accreditation, Ranking & IQAC at GITAM Deemed

In a major milestone, GITAM has been ranked across all 17 United Nations Sustainable

worldwide.
This accomplishment underscores GITAM’s steadfast commitment to sustainability, academic excellence, and societal impact, the university said in a release here.
A standout achievement in this year’s rankings is GITAM’s entry into the Top 100 Global Universities for SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, with a World University Rank of #81—a first-time and remarkable feat in the institution’s journey.
Sharing the news, Prof. R. Raja Prabu, Director – IQAC and Director – Accreditation & Ranking, highlighted the university’s steady progress in the rankings over the years: 2022 – Participation in
4 SDGs ; 2023 – Expanded to 8 SDGs ; 2024 – Advanced to 12 SDGs and in 2025 – Ranked in
all 17 SDGs.
This upward trajectory reflects GITAM’s strategic integration of sustainability into academics, research, and community engagement. The recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of GITAM’s leadership, faculty, staff, and students in driving meaningful change through innovation, social relevance, and continuous improvement, he added.
