Hyderabad: High level preparatory meeting held for Upcoming 'Miss World 2025' event

Hyderabad, May 1 (UNI) Law enforcement and traffic management were among the key issues discussed on Wednesday at a high-level preparatory and security coordination meeting here for the upcoming Miss World 2025 pageant.
The meeting was convened to finalise security, logistical, and event planning arrangements for the prestigious 72nd edition of the international beauty pageant, which will take place in Hyderabad from May 7 to 31. The grand finale is scheduled at HITEX Exhibition Centre on May 31.
The meeting chaired by Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty, focused on detailed planning for law enforcement, traffic management, public safety and inter-departmental coordination.
Discussions during the meeting covered a wide range of topics, including security protocols, traffic and transport coordination, venue readiness, hospitality services, cultural event scheduling, medical preparedness, and women and child safety.
Inter-departmental coordination was stressed to ensure the seamless execution of the 28-day festival, which will include cultural heritage tours, talent showcases, and social impact events.
The main objective of Miss World 2025 is to promote Telangana’s modern infrastructure and global hospitality standards, while celebrating beauty with purpose, international harmony, and empowerment.
Contestants will visit iconic landmarks such as Charminar, Ramappa Temple, Buddhavanam, and Pochampally, and participate in competitive segments, sports events, medical awareness drives, and other initiatives designed to make a lasting global impact.
Nyalakonda Prakash Reddy, Managing Director, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation, emphasized the importance of showcasing Telangana’s cultural richness, hospitality, and infrastructure capabilities to the world.
He noted that Miss World 2025 presents a unique opportunity to position Telangana as a premier global tourism and cultural destination. UNI KNR SSP
