Hyderabad Metro to offer 10 pc discount on revised fares from May 24

Hyderabad, May 20 (UNI) L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) has announced a 10 per cent discount on the newly revised metro fares across all fare zones and corridors, effective from May 24.
An official statement here on Tuesday said that the fare revision, recommended by the Fare Fixation Committee, aims to ensure long-term operational sustainability. However, taking into account passenger feedback, L&TMRHL is offering the discount to reduce the financial burden on commuters.
KVB Reddy, MD & CEO of L&TMRHL, stated that the move reflects the company’s commitment to balancing affordability with service reliability. He reiterated the organization’s dedication to providing accessible and commuter-friendly transit options.
