IOA, Korean Sport & Olympic Committee sign MoU to create new opportunities for athletes

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Indian Olympic President, P T Usha, signed a memorandum of understanding with Ryu Seung-min, President of the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee, at Korea House during the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
As per the handout, this agreement will be an important milestone for the Olympic Movement as former athletes, both presidents understand athletes’ needs and how valuable it is to create opportunities for the next generation.
The agreement will also strengthen ties between India and Korea and create new opportunities for athletes.
Through this partnership, it read that the organisations will work together to support athlete and youth development, high performance, coaching, sports science and good governance.
Asian Games Prevention of Manipulation of Competition Officer (PMC), Dushyant Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir was also present alongwith IOA president P T Usha and other members of during the MoU signing event at the Asian Games.
