Jammu, Jun 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Kabaddi team for Youth National was flagged off on Thursday for the First Youth National Kabaddi Championship to be held at Haridwar from June 28 to July 1, 2025.

As per the release, General Secretary Jammu Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, J&K, Kuldeep Gupta said that Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Kabaddi teams in Boys and Girls Section will participate in collaboration with J&K Sports Council and J&K Kabaddi Co-operative Society Ltd. Jammu in the First Youth National Kabaddi Championship held at Haridwar from June 28 to July 1, 2025.

Gupta, who happens to be a Technical Director Asian Kabaddi Federation further said that the selected boys and girls teams were flagged off by Balkrishan, Additional Registrar Co-operative Society J&K, Jammu from here.

The teams screening was conducted by the members of J&K Sports Council.

The sports kits were distributed to the players in boys and girls section by the special guest in the presence of general secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Anil Modi Treasurer, S S Gill, Technical Director Inderjeet Sharma, Sanjeet Kumar of the association, Ajay Gupta Incharge Kabaddi Stadium, Ajit Singh, Manik Sharma, Mohd Amin, Nisha Rani, Coaches of Kabaddi Games.

Association President, Anil Gupta conveyed the wishes to the teams and Managers and Coaches for enhanced performance.

Gupta also said that the medal winning team will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakhs) and a reception party will also be celebrated.
