J&K: Man shot dead over reported property dispute in Samba's Vijaypur

Jammu, Oct 5 (UNI) A man was shot dead reportedly over a property dispute in Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that a man identified as Aatish Sharma was shot dead by one Nikhil this evening at village Jakh in Vijaypur area.
Police said that the accused has been arrested and the firearm seized. However, a few men who accompanied the accused managed to escape."
Police have registered an FIR and launched manhunt to apprehend the absconding persons.
"As per initial reports, property dispute is the reason and the matter is being investigated," said police.
