Karan Tacker shines in Cannes debut with 'Tanvi the Great'

Cannes, May 23 (UNI) Bollywood actor Karan Tacker marked a defining moment in his career by making a resounding debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival with veteran filmmaker Anupam Kher's directorial venture 'Tanvi the Great'.
Well-regarded for his critically acclaimed performances in 'Special Ops' and 'Khakee: The Bihar Chapter', Tacker stepped into the role of Captain Samar Raina, a character that not only represents a creative leap from his previous work but also solidifies his versatility and gravitas as an actor of substance.
Speaking about his surreal experience, Karan shared, “It was just a dream, especially because my greatest idols Denzel Washington and Spike Lee were right beside me when we were walking the red carpet, so that’s as an experience in itself, which was amazing and of course when you're doing anything for the first time as a ‘first’ it’s always special so for me this year will always be a core memory, coming with my film and walking the red carpet for one of the biggest films that opened at Cannes itself.”
