Kishan Reddy watches 'Mann Ki Baat' in Sanathnagar, highlights India’s tough stance on terror

Hyderabad, May 25 (UNI) Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy joined residents and BJP workers in Lingaya Nagar, Sanathnagar constituency, on Sunday to listen to the 122nd episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy emphasised the Modi government’s zero-tolerance approach to terrorism. “Gone are the days when we paid tribute with roses and candles after terrorist attacks. Today, India responds with strength. If they kill one of ours, we respond a hundredfold,” he asserted.

He cited a series of past terror attacks, including those at Lumbini Park, Gokul Chat, Sai Baba Temple, Dilsukhnagar, Mumbai trains, and the Parliament, saying these incidents have claimed numerous innocent lives due to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism over the last 46 years.

Highlighting India’s robust response under Modi’s leadership, Reddy mentioned key retaliatory operations like the Pathankot surgical strike, Pulwama airstrike, and Operation Sindoor in Pahalgam, during which nine terrorist camps were reportedly infiltrated across the border.

He mourned the loss of an Indian soldier from Visakhapatnam in the operation and praised the courage and sacrifice of Indian troops.

He urged all citizens, irrespective of caste, religion, or political affiliation, to stand united against terrorism. “Participating in Tiranga Yatras and rallies is essential to showcase our national unity,” he said, noting that he had led such rallies in Amberpet, Jubilee Hills, Nampally, and Musheerabad.

Referring to the brutal nature of the Pahalgam attack, Reddy expressed anguish over the killings, including instances where victims were targeted in front of family members.

He stated that strong warnings were issued against blaming Modi, but the government’s actions have spoken louder than words. “Every attack will be met with a response,” he warned. “If Pakistan continues to behave like a crooked dog’s tail, it will be cut off.”

On Mann Ki Baat, Reddy encouraged the public to adopt key messages from the program, especially those related to cleanliness, yoga, and diabetes awareness. He echoed Prime Minister Modi’s message that the program aims to awaken, unite, and build a healthier Indian society.
