Anto Augustine was sent to 14 days of judicial custody after the Excise Special Investigation Team (SIT) presented him before the court.

Excise officials apprehended him around 5 a.m. from the Reporter (Malayalam) news channel’s office in Kalamassery, Kochi.
The arrest follows Wednesday’s discovery of 67 litres of unauthorized liquor at his ancestral home in Muttil South Village, Wayanad.
