Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) BRS Working President K T Rama Rao on Saturday demanded the immediate resignation of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, following the latter’s name
being mentioned in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) chargesheet linked to the National Herald–Young Indian case.
Calling it an “unprecedented insult” to Telangana, KTR said Revanth must step down if he has “any integrity or morality left.”
In a sharp press statement, KTR accused Revanth of being a “habitual offender,” citing past controversies including the 2015 "Vote for Note" scandal and fresh allegations of buying the
PCC chief post.
He also alleged that Telangana had been turned into an “ATM for the Congress High Command,” claiming Revanth made 44 trips to Delhi in 17 months — not for development, but to "shield himself" using BJP connections.
Highlighting multiple unaddressed corruption scandals — from the Amrit tenders and Valmiki scam to civil supplies and land fraud — KTR slammed both BJP and Congress for remaining silent. “Rahul’s silence is deafening, BJP’s silence is damning,” he said.
KTR also announced that BRS will approach the Governor to seek Revanth’s prosecution and warned of a statewide agitation to expose what he termed the “unholy BJP-Congress nexus.”
