Light to moderate rain likely in Telangana in next 48 hours, Oct 2-3: Met

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places over Telangana during the next 48 hours and on October 2 and 3, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph are very likely at isolated places over the state during the next 48 hours.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana on September 29, 30 and October 1.
The Southwest Monsoon remained weak over the state, the report said.
Rain occurred at one or two places over Telangana during the last 24 hours, it added.
