Maha: Body of three children found in Nashik lake

Nashik, Jun 30 (UNI) The bodies of three missing children from Vidi Kamgar Nagar in the Aadgaon area of the city have been found in a lake.

All three children were missing last Sunday. The children identified as Sai Goraksh Garad (14), Sai Kedarnath Ugle (13) and Sahil Hilal Jadhav (14).

Police said that since these three children went missing on Sunday, their relatives had been searching for them since the afternoon.

However, they were not found anywhere. Finally, on Monday morning, the clothes and shoes of all three children were found next to a pit dug for the construction of a private building near the Vidi Kamgar Nagar, so it was feared that all three Nashik children had drowned in the same pit.

After getting information about the incident, the Aadgaon Police and the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) fire brigade searched for all three children and recovered their bodies, which were sent to the district government hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, a private construction company has dug a large pit for the purpose of constructing a building. As rainwater has accumulated in this pit, it is suspected that the three children came here yesterday afternoon for bathing.

Due to the ongoing rains in the city, a large amount of rainwater has accumulated at this place. Since there is mud below, it is suspected that the children may have died due to slipping in this mud.
