Maha: CM announces names of farmers for DBT

Pune, May 21 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday announced the list of names of eligible farmers under the MahaDBT Shetkari Yojana during the 'State-Level Kharif Season Planning Meeting.

The objective of this scheme is to facilitate distribution of subsidies, assistance and other benefits to farmers and for this, the Agriculture Department has implemented a new method of 'first come, first served' for the application selection process.

Under this, 1,51,352 farmers have been initially selected for the year 2025-26 and the estimated subsidy amount to be given to them is Rs 839.55 crore.
