Maha: FIR against govt hospital HOD for molesting colleague's wife, minor daughters

Mumbai, June 2 (UNI) The Mumbai police registered an offence of molestation against the head of the forensic medicine department in the Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC)-run KEM Hospital for allegedly molesting his colleague’s wife, who is also a doctor, and their two minor daughters, police said here on Monday.
The local Bhoiwada police station registered an offence on Sunday under sections 74 (criminal force against a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty), 352 (intentional insult with the intent to provoke a breach of peace), and 351(2)(criminal intimidation) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
As per the FIR, the accused allegedly abused and threatened the complainant doctor’s husband. He also allegedly molested their two daughters, aged 15 and nine years.
So far, no arrest has been made, but an investigation into the matter is going on.
