Maha: Fire breaks out at Jindal factory in Nashik

Nashik, May 22 (UNI) A fire broke out at the Jindal Polyfilm factory located on the Nashik-Mumbai Highway here and it continued to rage for second consecutive day on Thursday.
The fire broke out at 1 am on Wednesday but was contained to a certain extent yesterday morning. However, the fire flared up again later in the evening and continued to rage with large plumes of black smoke billowing towards the sky throughout the area.

The fire engines from Nashik, Mahindra and Mahindra company, Bosch company, Igatpuri Municipal Council, Malegaon Municipal Corporation and other municipalities have been sent to the spot and fire-fighters are tirelessly fighting to control the flames using water and foam, sources said.
