Maha Guv, CM Fadnavis attend inauguration of Savarkar Centre of Studies and Research

Mumbai, May 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan on Tuesday presided over the inauguration of the "Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar Centre of Studies and Research " at the hands of state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the University of Mumbai.

According to a release issued by Raj Bhavan the Centre has been established by the University as part of the commemoration of the 60th death anniversary of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, an alumnus of the University of Mumbai.

Minister of Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil, Minister of IT and Cultural Affairs Ashish Shelar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhamare, Registrar Dr. Prasad Karande, people's representatives, officials, faculty members, and students were present.
