Maha's registration model to be rolled out nationwide, gets Centre's praise

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) The registration model developed under the leadership of Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule is set to be adopted across the country, with the innovative and efficient system receiving appreciation from senior Central government officials.
The model is aimed at making the registration process simpler, more transparent and efficient for citizens. The Central government has extended its support to the initiative and announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh for each registration office to facilitate its implementation.
The financial assistance is expected to help registration offices upgrade infrastructure and procure the resources required to introduce the new system effectively. The initiative is also being seen as an example of administrative reforms undertaken in Maharashtra.
Officials and stakeholders expect the adoption of the model to improve service delivery and enable citizens to complete registration-related procedures in a more timely and transparent manner.
