Maha: Three workers dead after wall collapses on them

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) Three workers, including two women, were killed after a wall of a storeroom at the Tina Rubber Company in neighbouring Palghar district allegedly collapsed on them, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Keshav Gunguna, Ranjana Komb and Meera Gawli, according to reports.
The incident occurred when the three workers were reportedly sitting near the storeroom and having breakfast.
The wall suddenly gave way, bringing down debris and trapping them underneath. On receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Wada Police reached the spot and began an investigation.
The bodies were recovered from beneath the debris, and the circumstances leading to the collapse are being examined, reports said.
Police are expected to assess the condition of the storeroom and surrounding structure as part of the probe.
It is also being examined whether the premises had adequate structural and workplace safety measures in place at the time of the incident.
The exact cause of the wall collapse has not yet been established. and the police is awaiting further details.
