Maha: Car falls from Parsik Hill onto railway track in Navi Mumbai, youths injured

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) A car carrying several youths fell from Parsik Hill onto a railway track in neghbouring Navi Mumbai city, leaving the occupants injured, sources said.
The incident occurred when the car reportedly lost control and plunged from the hillside onto the track below.
The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.
After receiving information, rescue personnel and officials from the concerned agencies reached the spot and started relief operations.
The injured were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The exact number of people travelling in the car and details of their injuries were not immediately available.
The incident also affected rail services on the Belapur-Uran line, as the vehicle landed directly on the tracks and a local train was detained.
A Central Railway official said, “A road vehicle has come on the track between the Belapur-Uran line and one local train is detained because of the same.”
Officials are assessing the situation and checking the condition of the railway track.
