Maha: Two passengers killed, 15 others injured in road accident in Jalgaon

Jalgaon, June 4 (UNI) Two passengers were killed on the spot and more than 15 others were injured in collision between a private travel bus and a truck on the national highway near Muktainagar in the district early on Wednesday.
According to police, a bus of private travel company going to Akola from Jalgaon hit a truck near Muktainagar early this morning. Due to the accident, the traffic on the highway has been disrupted .
Upon getting information of accident, the locals rushed to the spot and immediately admitted injured
passengers to the nearest hospital. Some of them are in critical condition.
The cause of accident has yet to be ascertained.
Police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating the matter, sources added.
