Maha: Youth downs in Nagpur swimming pool

Nagpur, May 1 (UNI) A 22-year-old man who was attending celebration of his friend's birthday, drowned in a swimming pool at a farmhouse in Wathoda area of city, police said on Thursday.
According to details, on Wednesday, the deceased, identified as Pranjal Nitin Rawle, who could not swim, jumped into the pool and began struggling in the deep water. His friends initially thought he was joking but later pulled him out unconscious.
He was taken to the hospital but declared dead.
The Wathoda police has registered an offence of accidental death and began its probe.
