Minister Seethakka congratulates SERP Additional CEO Katyayani Devi; sets vision to empower one crore women

Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women and Child Welfare D. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka today warmly welcomed and congratulated P Katyayani Devi on her recent appointment as Additional CEO of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) at the State Secretariat.

In her interaction, Minister Seethakka outlined an ambitious vision for women's empowerment, urging the new SERP Additional CEO to work with the goal of transforming one crore women into millionaires through self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

She directed Katyayani Devi to develop strategic plans for setting up women-led industries that leverage locally available raw materials and products.
The Minister also emphasised the importance of identifying successful self-help groups (SHGs) from each district and supporting them in establishing industries during the first phase of implementation, an official statement said.
