AP: 22 High-tech motor bikes for dial 112 services flagged off

Kakinada, June 28 (UNI) Twenty two high –tech motor bikes fitted with cameras, gadgets of high technology support for utilizing the dial 112 emergency services, have been allotted to Kakinada district police.
They would be utilized to reach the road accident places at the shortest possible time and also to rescue and relief operations during emergencies and provide protection to the victims.
These two wheelers include twenty Apache motor bikes and two bullet Bikes were launched at an event held at the district police office here on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Bindu Madhav has launched them by formally flagging off.
He said they would be of great use in coming down heavily on the anti social elements and also to attend to emergencies all over the district.
He said these hi-tech motor bikes scheme was the brain child of CM Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan kalyan, Home Minister Anitha and the DGP Harish Kumar Guptha.
The SP further said whenever a call was received to 112, these Hi-tech motor bikes would rush and reach the spot at the shortest possible time and render the necessary service.
Bindu Madhav not only flagged off the vehicles but also himself drove the Bullet bike running in the forefront.
Additional SP administration MJV Bhaskararao, DSP armed reserve Sriharirao, Peddapuram SDPO Srihariraju , DSP Special branch Chevvakula Sriramakoteswerarao, Reserve Inspector Venkateswerarao were among those attended.
