NALSA South Zonal Conference concludes in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (UNI) The two-day South Zonal Conference of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) concluded in Hyderabad on Sunday with discussions on digital evidence, child-friendly justice and legal protection for children against cyber sexual offences.
Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts, chairpersons of State Legal Services Authorities, Bar Association representatives and law students participated in the conference.
Supreme Court Judge Justice V Mohana, Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Sikkim High Court Chief Justice Justice Muhamed Mustaque, Karnataka High Court Judge Justice Anu Sivaraman and Cyber Security Corporation President Dr Herald D’Costa addressed a session on “Digital Evidence, Child-Friendly Justice, and Access to Legal Remedies for Child Victims of Cyber Sexual Offences.”
The second session, on “Safe Digital Childhood: Prevention, Awareness, and Community-Based Legal Protection,” was addressed by Supreme Court Judge and NALSA Executive Chairman Justice Vikram Nath, Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Kerala High Court Judge Justice A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar, Telangana High Court Judge Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy and union Law Secretary Neeraj Varma.
The guests also released books published by the Telangana Legal Services Authority on the occasion, according to an official statement.
