Two children electrocuted in West Champaran, CM announces Ex Gratia

Patna, Oct 11 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday expressed grief over the death of two children due to electrocution in Ramnagar block of West Champaran district and directed officials to provide financial assistance and medical care to the affected families.
The Chief Minister has directed the authorities to provide an ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the dependents of the two deceased children.
He also instructed officials to ensure proper treatment of all those injured in the incident at government expense and provide financial assistance to the injured.
Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, Choudhary wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.
“The state government stands with the affected families in this hour of grief,” the Chief Minister said.
According to the information, two children died in the incident, while several others sustained burn injuries.
