Bihar investment proposals discussed with Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary

Patna, Oct 11 (UNI) Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar on Sunday met Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and briefed him on investment proposals received from Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and people of Bihari origin interested in investing in the state during his overseas visits.
The Chief Minister agreed to meet the prospective investors and discuss their proposals. During the meeting, Prem Kumar also raised the need for a new building to replace the Bihar Legislature building, which is more than 100 years old. The Chief Minister expressed agreement with the proposal.
Prem Kumar shared his experiences from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) conference held in South Africa, followed by study visits to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Maldives.
He said that during his overseas visits, he informed NRIs and people of Bihar origin about the development initiatives underway in Bihar, the changing situation in the state and the investment opportunities available there.
