Patna, May 31 (UNI) Bihar government has sanctioned Rs 1094 crores for the payment of salaries and pensions to teachers and non-teaching staff of universities in the state for the financial year 2025-26.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, also holding the portfolio of Finance Department, said here that the state government had sanctioned Rs 1094 crores for payment of salaries and pensions to teachers and non-teaching staff of universities of the state for the financial year 2025-26. Out of a total sanctioned fund of Rs 1094 crore, a sum of Rs 460.85 crore had been sanctioned for salaries, while rest amount was given for pensions and other purposes, he added.
