Patna, June 25 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today handed over appointment letters to 101 newly recruited Assistant Architects, which would help in better construction of government buildings in the state.
Kumar, while speaking on the occasion, said that he was very pleased to hand over appointment letters to newly recruited assistant architects through examinations conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
All the newly recruited Assistant Architects would be very useful in the construction of government buildings in a proper way, taking into consideration all factors, including beautification, safety and quake-proofing, he added.
Newly recruited Assistant Architects would be posted in Home, Urban Development and Housing, Road Construction, Education, Tourism, Industries, Building Construction and other departments of the state government.
Architects would be posted and given responsibilities on the basis of their degrees, specialisation and assessment of their efficiencies, officials said.
Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Building Construction Minister Jayant Raj and other important dignitaries besides senior officials were present on the occasion.
