Indian Army, Assam Rifles conduct joint training in Arunachal

Itanagar, May 26 (UNI) In a significant move to enhance operational synergy and combat preparedness, the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles successfully conducted a joint training exercise in the forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
The week-long training aimed to bolster coordination and interoperability between the two forces, focusing on familiarisation with operational roles, weapons systems, equipment handling, and the exchange of best practices.
The challenging terrain of Arunachal Pradesh provided a strategic backdrop for the exercise, enabling troops to simulate real-time operations and refine tactical responses to border security and counterinsurgency challenges.
