Guwahati, May 31 (UNI) Air connectivity in Assam has got yet another boost as Indigo Airlines assured to start new routes connecting different towns in Assam with other mainland Indian cities.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this on his X handle and added that the Delhi–Dibrugarh flight will now include a stopover at Guwahati, providing morning connectivity between the two capitals of Assam.
"During my recent meeting with the @IndiGo6E leadership in New Delhi, I urged them to enhance air connectivity to other key locations across Assam — particularly Silchar, Dibrugarh, and North Lakhimpur.
