IFFCO Paradip wins Greentech Environment Award

Bhubaneswar, Sep 15 (UNI) IFFCO’s Paradip unit has won the Greentech Environment Award 2026 for its efforts in environmental protection and adoption of sustainable practices.
The award was presented at the 25th Greentech Environment & Sustainability Summit 2026 held recently in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
D Mohanty, Manager (EPC), IFFCO Paradip, received the award on behalf of Unit Head A V Singh from Ved Prakash Mahawar, former Director of ONGC Ltd.
The recognition highlights IFFCO Paradip’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and strengthen environmental practices across its operations, the company said in a statement.
The unit has remained committed to addressing operational challenges while supporting farmers and contributing to the country’s food security, it said.
The award is expected to boost the morale of employees and stakeholders of IFFCO Paradip, the statement added.
IFFCO, under the leadership of Managing Director K J Patel, has been serving the country for six decades and is the world’s largest cooperative society, according to the company.UNI MK AAB
