Odisha Governor urges filmmakers to create meaningful cinema to inspire youth

Bhubaneswar, Sep 24 (UNI) Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Thursday urged filmmakers to produce meaningful and impactful films and use cinema as a medium to inspire and positively influence the younger generation.
The Governor made the remarks when producer of the National Film Award-winning Odia film Lahari, Jhilik Bhattacharjee, along with members of the film’s team, met him at Lok Bhavan here.
Kambhampati interacted with the team and congratulated them on the film’s national recognition, saying the achievement had brought pride to Odisha.
He appreciated the efforts of the filmmakers in promoting Odia cinema at the national level and encouraged them to continue creating films with meaningful and positive messages.
The Governor also wished the team success in its future endeavours.
