One arrested for writing controversial contents on Gandhi museum wall in Motihari

Motihari, Sep 21 (UNI) Local police arrested a man in connection with the writing of controversial remarks on the wall of the Gandhi Museum in Motihari of East Champaran district, Bihar.
The police said here on Monday that the accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar, a resident of the Belisrai locality. Police said that paint, containers, and other materials allegedly used to write the remarks on the museum wall were recovered from his residence.
Several controversial statements had been written on the wall of the Gandhi Museum near Narsingh Baba Temple under the Nagar police station area. One of the remarks reportedly described the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a "terrorist organisation." The incident triggered resentment among local residents, who objected to the writing of such remarks on the wall of an important historical and public site. They urged the administration to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
