37 cattle rescued from container being transported in cruel conditions, three arrested

Bhabua, Sept 21 (UNI) Police rescued 37 cattle allegedly being transported in cruel conditions in a container on National Highway-19 and arrested three people in connection with the case in Kaimur district.
Police reported that, following a tip-off regarding a container being loaded and transported from Sasaram to Uttar Pradesh, vehicle checks were initiated on NH-19 in the Durgawati police station area.
During the checking, police found 37 cattle allegedly tied and packed in the container in a manner that caused them distress.
