Odisha Police rescue 101 missing, trafficked children from 17 states under Operation Anweshan

Bhubaneswar, Sep 10 (UNI) Odisha Police, in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department, has traced and rescued 101 children, including 54 boys and 47 girls, from 17 states during a special drive launched under “Operation Anweshan”.
The operation, conducted from August 28 to September 8 by the Crime Against Women & Children Wing of Odisha Police, focused on tracing and rescuing missing and trafficked Odia children from different parts of the country.
Police sources here on Thursday said the operation involved field-level searches, verification of leads and coordination with the concerned authorities and Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in the destination states.
