Gandhi’s life an immortal saga of dedication to truth, non-violence: Samrat

Patna, Oct 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Friday paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 157th birth anniversary, describing his life as an “immortal saga” of dedication to truth, non-violence and service to the nation.
Choudhary said Gandhi’s thoughts had shown not only India but the entire world the path of humanity, peace and Satyagraha.
Paying homage to the Father of the Nation, the Chief Minister said Gandhi’s ideals continued to inspire society and the nation. He also shared a photograph of Gandhi along with his tribute message.
Choudhary also paid tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary, saying his simple life, determination and dedication to national service would remain an inspiration for generations.
“On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India and great freedom fighter, Bharat Ratna and revered Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, I offer my respectful tributes,” Choudhary said in his message.
He said Shastri’s simplicity, determination and dedication to national service would continue to inspire the people of the country. UNI RS AAB
