Mangni Lal Mandal unanimously elected Bihar RJD president

Patna, June 15 (UNI) Former Minister and senior party leader, Mangani Lal Mandal, has been unanimously elected president of Bihar unit of RJD on Sunday.
Election Officer appointed for completing the process Dr Tanveer Hassan announced in press conference that Mandal had been unanimously elected as president of Bihar RJD.
On Saturday, Mandal was the only candidate who had filed nomination papers in four sets and after verification, these were found correct in all respects, he added.
Hassan said that organisational elections of the party from Panchayat to district and state level had now been completed for the year 2025-28.
State council would ratify election of Mandal on June 19 in Gyan Bhawan and then formal declaration of his unanimous election as president of Bihar unit of the party would be made, he added.
Mandal, newly elected president of Bihar unit of the party, said on the occasion that there was an urgent need for all party workers and leaders to propagate the message of party leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav to every household.
He expressed his gratitude to RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav for their support in giving him the new responsibility, which would be discharged to best of his ability.
