PM Modi to attend one-year celebration of BJP Government in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 5 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on June 12 to participate in the celebrations marking the completion of one year of the BJP government in the state.

Odisha Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra informed the media on Thursday that the Prime Minister has given his consent to attend the event.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, during his recent visit to Delhi, had invited the Prime Minister to grace the occasion celebrating one year of BJP governance in Odisha.

The state government has planned a mega event at Janata Maidan on June 12 to commemorate the milestone.

Patra said celebrations will be held in every district, block, and panchayat, and ministers will visit the districts to highlight the government’s achievements over the past year.

Official sources said cultural programmes will be organised at the district level, and well-decorated vans will travel across all 314 blocks of Odisha to showcase the government’s flagship programmes and accomplishments from the past year.
