Tejaswi slams Bihar Govt over deteriorating law and order

Patna, Oct 18 (UNI) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) working president and Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejaswi Yadav, on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the state government following the murder of Prince Ranjan Yadav, maternal cousin of RJD MLA and former Education Minister Prof. Chandrashekhar Yadav, in Madhepura.

Tejaswi alleged that law and order in Bihar had completely collapsed, claiming that crimes allegedly protected, encouraged, and sponsored by those in power were breaking all records.
Targeting Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the RJD leader alleged that the law and order situation had deteriorated under a government that came to power through electoral malpractice. He alleged that an unholy nexus between those in power, criminals, and the police had made life increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens and undermined the rule of law.
Tejaswi also questioned the Chief Minister’s leadership and administrative capabilities, describing him as incapable and boastful. He further levelled serious allegations against the Chief Minister, claiming that criminal incidents across the state continued to raise grave concerns.
Prince Ranjan Yadav was shot dead in Madhepura on October 16.
