Manipur: Troops destroy hideout of Kuki militants

Imphal, Mar 9 (UNI) A combined team of Assam Rifles and Indian Army destroyed a UKNA camp in the jungles near Songphu village, Henglep village, Churachandpur district.
Assam Rifles official said on Sunday that troops launched a special operation and destroyed the camp of the Kuki militant outfit.
The operation which began on Friday lasted for about 48 hours. Troops conducted extensive search of the area, during which an abandoned camp likely used by UKNA was sighted.
