Delhi Police crack Rs 30 lakh daylight robbery, four apprehended

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) Delhi Police have cracked a daylight robbery case in East Delhi’s Krishna Nagar within 10 hours, apprehending four accused persons, including two juveniles, who allegedly robbed a bag containing approximately Rs 30 lakh in cash.
Police have so far recovered Rs 19.05 lakh in cash from the accused, along with three new iPhones, a pistol and a scooty allegedly used in the commission of the crime. The scooty was found to have been stolen.
The incident took place on Friday when the complainant stated that he was carrying approximately Rs 30 lakh in cash in a red backpack while riding his two-wheeler towards his readymade garment shop in Nehru Gali, Gandhi Nagar. Four persons riding scooters allegedly approached him from behind, snatched the backpack containing the cash and fled towards Vijay Chowk.
