Indecency with pregnant journo again brings up Rahul Gandhi & Congress' anti-woman face before nation: Delhi CM

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi over his alleged rude conduct with a woman journalist during Monday's protest march, stating that what happened has once again brought forward grand old party's anti-woman face before the entire nation.
Gupta taking to social media platform X, stated that "the bad behavior with the three months pregnant woman journalist is highly condemnable, and the ordeal explained by the woman journalist exposes the grand old party regarding what it says, and what it actually does in real".
Sharpening her attack on Congress and its leaders, Gupta hitting out at Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, said that on one hand they claim to stand with the rights of women, while they remain tight lipped on the issue regarding the Congress MP, who is accused of sexually exploiting female students at JNU.
Gupta said, "The real character of the parties chanting slogans like I am a girl I am a girl….is now before the public."
Gupta alleged that when the women go ahead and ask questions, they face rude behavior, while abuses are also hurled at them, adding that all this deserves as much condemnation as possible, which is also not enough, she stated.
"The country is watching Rahul Gandhi and Congress's so-called respect for women. The public will respond and hold them accountable," CM Gupta added.
BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj has also hit out at the Congress over the alleged misconduct with the BJP women workers who were holding a peaceful protest outside the grand old party's office on Monday.
"I want to warn the Congress that we are not the ones to be intimidated by such thuggery. We will continue to raise our voice and will also ensure legal action against your office-bearer," Swaraj said. UNI AP CDS
